Who we are
Information you give us
When you book a meeting, Google Calendar provides the appointment details needed to manage the meeting. Rivco may match the booking email to an earlier contact form submission so that we can confirm which lead completed a booking. We do not send raw names, email addresses, phone numbers, or message text to Google Analytics.
Website measurement and advertising
Unless you previously selected Reject non-essential tracking or your browser sends an honored Global Privacy Control signal, Rivco uses limited pseudonymous website and campaign measurement when you visit rivcoassistant.com. Pseudonymous means the measurement uses browser, session, campaign, and event identifiers without sending your raw name, email address, phone number, company name, message, or form answers to analytics or advertising platforms. These identifiers can still distinguish or reconnect a browser, so this measurement is not fully anonymous.
We use Google Tag Manager to control measurement tags, Google Analytics to understand website and funnel activity, Stape to operate our server-side tag container, Google Ads to measure approved conversions from Google advertising, and Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure approved Facebook and Instagram advertising activity.
The measured information may include a random Rivco visitor ID and its coded Meta matching identifier, GA client and session IDs, Meta browser and click IDs, advertising click IDs such as gclid, gbraid, wbraid, and fbclid, validated UTM campaign values, a sanitized page path, page or service category, safe referrer category, browser and device class, language, broad time bucket, successful lead events, confirmed meeting events, and opaque event IDs used to prevent double counting. Google and Meta also receive the IP address and user-agent information that accompanies a network request and may use it to infer an approximate area. For a confirmed meeting matched to a prior inquiry, Meta may also receive the visitor IP address and browser information recorded with that inquiry; Rivco does not substitute the booking server’s address or invent missing visitor information. Rivco does not send precise GPS location through this system.
Selecting Accept all allows stronger matching for future eligible inquiries and confirmed meetings. With a new acceptance of this update, after a successful inquiry we may also use those coded contact details for later page visits and booking-button activity from the same browser for up to 30 minutes. A different submission replaces the entire matching record. This additional permission does not apply to earlier inquiries or earlier acceptance choices. Meta may receive one-way coded versions, called SHA-256 hashes, of the email address, phone number, first name and last name provided for the inquiry, when available and suitable for matching. Meta uses these values to match the action with a Facebook or Instagram account and measure advertising. These values are not anonymous, but Rivco does not send the original contact details through this measurement system. Name and phone matching requires the separate contact-matching choice, and using contact details for later visits requires the additional permission described above. Accepting does not resend earlier activity, enable Google enhanced conversions or turn on Google advertising personalization.
Google Ads receives only approved Google Analytics conversion events that can be attributed to a Google advertisement interaction. Rivco does not include raw form identity or message content in those imported events. Advertising personalization remains disabled for the Google Analytics and Google Ads link.
Cookies and browser storage
Rivco and its measurement providers use cookies and browser storage for the purposes described above while pseudonymous or accepted measurement is active. The Rivco privacy-choice record lasts up to 180 days and is renewed only when you make a new choice. Separate privacy-choice records remember whether your latest acceptance included additional contact-matching fields and their short-lived use for later visits. It expires with that choice and is cleared when you reject tracking. A random Rivco visitor ID, first-touch campaign and click attribution, and a bounded page or service journey may last up to 30 days. First-touch attribution expires 30 days after its original capture and is not silently replaced by a later campaign.
A visit session expires after 30 minutes without activity and always ends within 24 hours. Temporary booking-surface context expires after 30 minutes. Short-lived contact matching uses an encrypted server record and separate secure browser handles on our website and measurement host. The record stops working 30 minutes after the successful inquiry, without extending that time on later visits. Withdrawal stops its use; later acceptance does not restore it. Expired records are removed by scheduled cleanup. Contact details and their coded versions are not stored in browser local storage or added to Google Analytics events. Pending encrypted Meta delivery data is kept for no more than seven days. A finished Meta technical status may be kept for up to 90 days without the event or customer payload.
Google and Meta control the lifetime of their own cookies under their settings and policies. This project does not lengthen those provider-controlled lifetimes. When you reject non-essential tracking or send Global Privacy Control, Rivco clears the removable Rivco, Google, and Meta identifiers known to this website.
Contact form records, business email, customer records, and Calendar appointments are operational business records. They follow Rivco’s separate record-retention practices and are not given a new retention period by this measurement feature.
Traffic and campaign information
Rivco may record validated UTM source, medium, campaign, content, term, and campaign ID values; Google and Meta click identifiers; the first landing page; safe referring-site information; pages and service categories visited; the form placement used; booking interest; successful form submission; and a confirmed or cancelled meeting outcome. Google and server-side measurement use filtered URLs. Meta Pixel uses reviewed public page and referrer URLs with validated campaign fields; it is skipped when the browser URL or referrer cannot be safely used. Unknown query parameters are removed from ordinary public page URLs before Meta Pixel runs. Recognized public booking anchors may remain. Passwords, authentication tokens, and form answers are not included in Rivco’s measurement fields. Cross-site browser protections may limit referrer information to the previous site’s domain.
We use this information to understand which website content and campaigns lead to inquiries and confirmed meetings, prevent duplicate conversion counting, and preserve useful attribution with Rivco’s internal lead record. We do not invent advertising click IDs or use browser fingerprinting when storage is unavailable.

How long we keep information
Your choices
You may select Accept all on the website notice to allow stronger matching for future eligible measurement events. You may select Reject non-essential tracking on this Privacy Policy page or open Privacy Choices from the website footer at any time.
After rejection, Rivco records the choice, updates the consent state, clears removable measurement storage, and reloads the page so future normal analytics and advertising measurement is blocked. One Google consent-state transition request may occur while the rejection is being recorded. After the reload, Rivco does not continue normal or cookieless Google measurement, Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, or normal Stape measurement for that browser.
Rejecting does not prevent you from browsing the website, submitting a form, receiving a response from Rivco, or booking a meeting. Those operational actions still require the information you choose to provide to WordPress, Rivco’s email systems, and Google Calendar. They will not create GA4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or Meta Conversions API measurement events after rejection.
Information already delivered before your rejection is not automatically erased, and accepting later does not replay or backfill the rejected period. You may contact info@rivcoassistant.com to ask a privacy question or make an applicable privacy request.
Global Privacy Control
Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Rivco treats it as Reject non-essential tracking across this website. We do not create or refresh pseudonymous measurement identifiers, and we block future non-essential Google and Meta measurement. We show that the signal was honored instead of asking you to override it. Website forms and meeting booking remain available.
